We're glad you are here! Whether you are here to check our calendar of events, find directions, or just to learn more about our church, we hope you enjoy exploring our site and find just what you are looking for. At Calvary Chapel, we are excited and committed to helping you grow in the "grace and knowledge" of the Lord Jesus Christ.
As a local church, we are affiliated with Calvary Chapel Association, a fellowship of churches that involve over 1500 ministries around the world. We place great emphasis on the exposition of Scripture through teaching the entire Bible chapter-by-chapter and verse-by-verse. Our studies are inductive and exegetical—listening to the Bible’s own truth without preconceived ideas and critically examining the Scripture with accuracy based upon observable principles of interpretation.
WHAT TO EXPECT
If you are visiting us for the first time, please feel free to dress comfortably. Most of us wear jeans or dress in business-casual attire. Our Sunday morning service starts at 10:00 a.m. with contemporary worship followed by "prayer and share" time when folks may share praises and prayer requests that we take to the Lord corporately in a time of prayer. The children (preschool through grade 6) are dismissed to Sunday School where they will start with some kids-style worship followed by a Bible lesson. The adults take a "coffee" break for about 10 minutes, then return for a 30-40 minute sermon. The service usually ends around 11:30 a.m.
